This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced senior manager to join Relationships Australia Victoria (RAV) in this leadership role with staff who have been delivering effective client focused services and outcomes for over 70 years in Victoria.

RAV provides services from centres across metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria.

About the role

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, you will be responsible for the leadership of RAV’s client services, programs, education, quality, tender and contractual obligations within a significant budget. This involves direct and indirect management through your senior management team, of RAV’s centres located across Melbourne metropolitan and regional Victoria locations. You and your team of managers are responsible for providing high quality, effective and efficient delivery of a wide range of clinical services to meet client needs in an evidence-based, outcomes-focused manner. The role is also responsible for strategic leadership of new business development and tender submissions as we focus on business growth via new income streams aligned to our Vision and Focus. Indirect management of our ISO accreditation, audit and compliance requirements which underpin our quality management framework.

Skills, experience and qualifications

  • Significant operational senior management experience in a complex community sector/health care organisation as well as a relevant qualification to post-graduate level (preferable).
  • Service delivery leadership including ensuring delivery of clinical excellence as well as data analysis/reporting to report on and meet funder/contract obligations.
  • Proven financial management skills including oversight of a significant Budget with relevant accountabilities is a key requirement.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to influence, negotiate, coach and engage effectively with all stakeholders including the Board and management teams to foster a positive workplace culture and drive outcomes.
  • Strategic thinking and leadership to influence change and drive service growth.
  • Proven leadership within a culturally diverse organisation (preferable) as well as experience in an ISO accredited organisation demonstrating skills to support compliance, policy and quality requirements.

This position will be based in our Central office at Camberwell and will involve travel to our centres to meet, engage and develop a positive workplace culture.
