This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced administrative professional at our Kew centre to join Relationships Australia Victoria (RAV) in this important role with staff who have been delivering effective client focused services and outcomes for over 70 years in Victoria.

About the role

Reporting to the Senior Manager Kew, your day-to-day work will be supervised by our Client Service Coordinator. You will provide an efficient, welcoming first point of contact for clients and people contacting RAV about services and our Family Mediation and Counselling programs, responding in a helpful manner via phone and in person. You will provide organisational and administrative support to management and staff, undertake basic assessment of client service needs and manage the coordination, booking, data entry and processing of client appointments.

This is an ongoing position located at our Kew centre. The role is part-time, 0.8 EFT (4 days, 30 hours per week) until February 2023, and then will revert to 0.6 EFT (3 days, 22.5 hours per week). The successful candidate will be required to work a regular evening shift per week.

Skills, experience and qualifications

  • Office Administration certificate and/or previous experience in a similar administration capacity.
  • Proven experience answering high volume inbound calls, delivering high quality customer service, ideally within a medical or health care related environment.
  • Demonstrate a high level of skill in dealing with clients with complex needs in a supportive, empathetic and effective manner, to remain calm under pressure, problem solve and make effective decisions in potentially stressful situations.
  • High level of confidentiality to ensure client personal and financial information is maintained.
  • Proven track record in managing priorities, organising priorities with excellent attention to detail.

What we offer

A competitive salary package is on offer to the successful candidate with a base salary range of $67k to $69k (pro-rata) per annum, superannuation and access to salary packaging.
