Our belief in the transformative power of relationships lies at the heart of everything we do.

Relationships Australia South Australia (RASA) is a not-for-profit, secular, community organisation, helping people to overcome difficulties and bring about positive change in their lives. We offer services for families, couples and individuals of all ages, backgrounds and abilities.

This is an exciting and unique opportunity to provide therapeutic counselling across two programs that address the needs of people who have experienced a range of complex and acute traumas.

The rebuild - counselling for victims of crime program, provides trauma-based counselling and peer support to adult and child victims of crime as they move through the criminal justice process.

The Disability Royal Commission program is a free, independent, safe and confidential counselling service funded by the Australian Government to support people affected by the Royal Commission into Violence, Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation of People with Disability.

rebuild - Counselling for Victims of Crime

The Counsellor will provide trauma informed counselling, support and referral for people who are the victims of crime, to assist with well-being and resilience, reduce the likelihood of re-traumatisation, and encourage sustained post-traumatic growth and recovery. The focus of this counselling is to support clients with the immediate impact of a crime and specifically during their engagement with the criminal justice process. The Counsellor provides a collaborative and integrated response to meet the individual needs of victims of both violent and non-violent crimes.

Disability Royal Commission

The Counsellor provides holistic frontline counselling and comprehensive support services for people affected by the Royal Commission into Violence, Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation of People with Disability.
