About the Role

We are currently seeking applications for a Fixed-term, part-time (22.5 hours per week) position of Team Leader located at our Gold Coast and Eight Mile Plains Children’s Contact Service (CCS) until 31st December 2020.

Please note, the successful applicant will be required to work Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays each week to meet operational requirements of the program.

The Team Leader position offers a unique opportunity where you will be responsible for supporting service delivery staff of our Children’s Contact Services at both the Gold Coast and our Eight Mile Plains location. The role will see you support the team both from a clinical perspective as well as the day-to-day operations of the venue. Importantly, you will be responsible for coordinating and developing a team to build a cohesive and high performing culture.

Clinical Service Delivery:

You will be responsible for the smooth running of all front line service delivery by providing leadership and support to clinical practitioners, in the areas of complex case management, clinical decision making, duty of care issues, diary management and performance management, ensuring a consistent and high standard of service is provided to clients across RAQ. In undertaking this component of the role it is expected that you will be familiar with all services offered within the region.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess undergraduate level qualifications in Social or Behavioural Sciences. Possession of a Vocational Graduate Diploma of Family Dispute Resolution, including the ability to maintain FDR Accreditation, and a postgraduate level qualification will be highly regarded.

The ideal applicant will also possess:

  • Substantial experience in providing case management, consultation and support to clinical practitioners.
  • Experience managing a team including performance management, monitoring and review.
  • Experience in client service delivery including but not limited to; complex case management, assessment, intake and risk screening, case planning, case reviews, co-service delivery and critical incident response.
  • Knowledge of current theory and practice relating to the provision of human services.

The salary being offered is between $92,000 to $95,700 per annum, to be negotiated depending upon qualifications and experience, plus superannuation and generous salary packaging options, where eligible, which will significantly increase the value of take-home pay. Other attractive benefits are also available including additional annual leave over the Christmas period, annual leave loading and study leave.
