About the Role

We're accepting applications for a full-time (37.5 hours per week) permanent Services Manager (internally known as a Team Leader) to join our management team based in Townsville. Here’s your opportunity to be part of RAQ’s Operational Management team, giving you access to regular leadership forums and training. The role will lead a range of social services and programs, including counselling and mediation services.

Under a portfolio of programs, you’ll provide leadership and support to clinical practitioners in the areas of:

  • Complex case management
  • Clinical decision making
  • Duty of care
  • Diary management
  • Performance management
  • Program development

While it’s a varied role, it’s also a true leadership position. You’ll coach, develop and mentor a team of qualified and professional practitioners against contractual performance targets.

Base salary band for the role is $86,500 to $94,000, to be negotiated based on relevant experience. We would also consider relocation for the right candidate.

About You

To be considered for this, you will have an undergraduate level qualifications in Social or Behavioural Sciences, in addition to:

  • Demonstrated experience in driving excellence in service delivery and performance
  • Demonstrated experience in leadership and supporting teams through change
  • Demonstrated experience in developing a positive workplace culture
  • Experience in providing case management, consultation and support to clinical practitioners
  • Experience managing a team including performance management, monitoring and review
  • Experience in client service delivery including: Complex case management, assessment, intake and risk screening, case planning, case reviews, co-service delivery and critical incident response
  • Ability to work some evenings or weekends if required to meet operational requirements of the role.
