Projects Officer, Director of Training and Clinical Supervisor Support

The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists

The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (the College) is the peak body for advancing patient care and clinical excellence in clinical radiology and radiation oncology. The College is responsible for driving appropriate, high quality and safe use of medical imaging and radiation oncology through training, assessment and accreditation of radiologists and radiation oncologists, maintenance of quality and standards, and strategies to ensure the workforce is sufficient to support population needs in Australia and New Zealand.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to join a strong team and deliver support to the Director of Training, and Clinical Supervisors across both clinical radiology and radiation oncology training programs.

Working with the Director of Training and Clinical Supervisors you will facilitate engagement of appropriate members, supporting their appointment, induction, recognition, and continuous upskilling to meet the needs of the training program.

You will support the trainers and network training committees by monitoring trainee progress across multiple software programs, providing timely and accurate reports as well as guidance on training requirements for trainees aligned to the training programs. You will have worked with committees previously and be able to prepare and deliver minutes, agendas, and associated reports.

You present as an exceptional communicator, with strong project management skills. Having previously facilitated and hosted event requirements for training in both face to face and online webinar systems, you excel in a fast-paced environment, where you can manage multiple projects simultaneously, and can navigate a complex stakeholder landscape. You have a proven track record as a detail oriented, analytical, and organised individual. The successful applicant will be offered a two-year contract, with a view for longer term options.

With a sophisticated work from home IT infrastructure in place to support staff during COVID-19 and an office in Sydney CBD, the College is a friendly, professional and positive working environment that fosters growth and development, as well as an excellent work life balance.

We encourage applicants of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander descent to apply.
