The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (the College) is the peak body for advancing patient care and clinical excellence in clinical radiology and radiation oncology. The College is responsible for driving appropriate, high quality and safe use of medical imaging and radiation oncology through training, assessment and accreditation of radiologists and radiation oncologists, maintenance of quality and standards, and strategies to ensure the workforce is sufficient to support population needs in Australia and New Zealand.

This is an excellent opportunity for a tenacious professional to join our Speciality Training Unit in the role of Project Officer, Training Accreditation.

In this role you will be responsible for maintaining, monitoring and supporting training sites and various networks with involvement across the College’s training programs which cover both Clinical Radiology, and Radiation Oncology.

With strong experience gained in the Quality Assurance or Audit Compliance field you are highly organised, an excellent communicator and are known for your collaborative approach. A large portion of this role will be spent visiting accreditation sites such as hospitals and private clinics to ensure standards are met for teaching, supervision and support of trainees and junior doctors. This role requires work with both key internal and external stakeholders, as well as keen attention to detail towards all relevant reporting. You will also work to support various committees and possess strong skills across Microsoft 365. The successful applicant will be offered a two-year contract, with a view for longer term options.
