About Us

The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (the College) is the peak body for advancing patient care and clinical excellence in clinical radiology and radiation oncology. The College is responsible for driving appropriate, high quality and safe use of medical imaging and radiation oncology through training, assessment and accreditation of radiologists and radiation oncologists, maintenance of quality and standards, and strategies to ensure the workforce is sufficient to support population needs in Australia and New Zealand.

The Role 

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Officer, Standards and Quality, to join our Standards Unit, working closely with the Unit Head and broader team, to support our members (radiologists and radiation oncologists) in the establishment and adherence to quality and practice standards, therefore supporting the College’s commitment to clinical excellence. 

In this role you will work with the Head of Standards and the wider Standards Unit to support multiple projects, as well as providing high level secretariat support to relevant committees and working groups. You will work with internal and external stakeholders as well as acting as a contact for member queries relating to quality programs.

About You

You will be an exceptional communicator, who is adept at managing multiple levels of stakeholders. You present as a proven self-starter with a desire to deliver timely and accurate work as part of a collaborative team. You possess high level customer service skills needed to confidently support our members, and have experience delivering high level administrative support within a matrix environment. The successful applicant will be offered a two-year contract, with a view for longer term options.
