The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (the College) is the peak body for advancing patient care and clinical excellence in clinical radiology and radiation oncology. The College is responsible for driving appropriate, high quality and safe use of medical imaging and radiation oncology through training, assessment and accreditation of radiologists and radiation oncologists, maintenance of quality and standards, and strategies to ensure the workforce is sufficient to support population needs in Australia and New Zealand.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Communications professional to join the team on a 14-month, part time, fixed term maternity leave contract. In this role you will take responsibility for various areas of our broader communications strategy with a focus on digital platforms. In collaboration with Communications colleagues you will handle email communications such as e-newsletters, manage social media accounts and website projects, as well as ensuring management and implementation of the College’s communication strategies, guidelines and policies. You present as an experienced professional, with robust experience across broad range Communications. You are known for your attention to detail, exceptional team working capabilities, and your ability to create and source high quality content, as well as editing and proofreading this. Experience in the healthcare industry is desirable, but not essential. This role is a three day per week position.
