The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists

The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (the College) is the peak body for advancing patient care and clinical excellence in clinical radiology and radiation oncology. The College is responsible for driving appropriate, high quality and safe use of radiology medical services through training, assessment and accreditation of radiologists and radiation oncologists, maintenance of quality and standards; and strategies to ensure the workforce is enough to support population need in Australian and New Zealand.

The Analyst will play a vital role within the College’s Policy and Advocacy Unit. In this role you will be responsible for performing high level data and statistical analysis as well as conducting research that supports the ongoing activities of Standing Committees, Working Groups and both our Faculty Councils (Radiation Oncology and Clinical Radiology).

Reporting directly to the Economics and Analytics Manager, you will work closely with peers within the College as well as a varied group of external stakeholders. You will be a highly efficient collaborator and pride yourself on your attention to detail. In this role you will be responsible for statistical analysis which supports policy development, development of economic models and strategies which underpin critical services reimbursement across both of our faculties, as well as workforce reporting and ad hoc analytical assistance. You will hold a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline and have a minimum of two years’ work experience in a related field.

With a sophisticated work from home IT infrastructure in place to support staff during COVID-19 and an office in Sydney CBD, the College is a friendly, professional and positive working environment that fosters growth and development, as well as an excellent work life balance. This is a full time, contract position (two years fixed term) offering a salary package of up to $81,851 including superannuation.
