RANZCOG is calling for consumers with an interest in women’s health and advocacy to be part of the RANZCOG Consumer Network. This may include individuals who are users, or potential users, of women’s health services in Australia or New Zealand. This also extends to individuals who are affected by the delivery of women’s healthcare services, such as family members, carers or support people.

About RANZCOG

The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) is the leading standards body responsible for the training and education in obstetrics and gynaecology in Australia and New Zealand.

RANZCOG is committed to the establishment and maintenance of the highest possible standards of practice in women’s health and provides programs in training, accreditation and continuing professional development (CPD) that are responsive to the evolving healthcare needs of women.

RANZCOG supports research into women’s health and acts as an advocate for women’s healthcare by forging productive relationships with individuals, the community and professional organisations, both locally and internationally.

Our mission is to lead the delivery of women’s health care in Australia and New Zealand through education and training, advocacy and policy development.

About the RANZCOG Consumer Network

The RANZCOG Consumer Network is a College initiative that provides opportunities for consumers to contribute to RANZCOG work, and women’s health more broadly. The Consumer Network is overseen by the RANZCOG Consumer Network Working Group (CNWG).

Through the Consumer Network, RANZCOG hopes to remain connected and relevant to the communities it serves by actively incorporate consumer perspectives into our work.

Applying for the position

We are striving for a diverse group of people with different experiences and ideas to join the RANZCOG Consumer Network Working Group. Applications will be assessed by ensuring a diversity of Consumer Representatives as listed within the Terms of Reference as well as the quality of application.

Individuals from culturally and linguistically diverse communities, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and Maori communities are encouraged to apply.
