What you’ll do

  • Lead a team to provide innovative and best practice group work in the Hunter & Central Coast region
  • Support service delivery for the Relationship Education Group Work Program
  • Assist in developing and enhancing the delivery of a range of psychoeducational programs, both online and face to face
  • Lead by example and support staff to apply person centred, trauma informed, practice and strength-based approach to working with clients
  • Co-ordinate the face to face programs/community based online programs
  • Recruit, onboard and performance manage staff
  • Develop and maintain strong community partnerships to enhance the impact of group work within the region

The details

  • Work across Hunter & Central Coast region
  • Part time (4 days a week)
  • Approx $50 per hour + super + salary packaging benefits

What you’ll bring

  • Strong experience as a group worker/educator or experience in supervising group work clinical practice
  • Clinical expertise in group work program areas
  • Demonstrated skills, experience and training as a clinical supervisor, giving and receiving live group work supervision
  • Experience in co-ordinating a range of face to face and online group work
  • Demonstrated competence and understanding of working within a trauma informed framework
  • Community development and project management experience
  • Flexibility to work in the evening at times
