What you’ll do

  • Maintaining the financial accounting for the organisation
  • Business partnering with non-finance departments and cost centre owners
  • Systems ownership of the ERP, Microsoft Business Central and expense management system, Continia
  • Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Maintaining a procedures manual for the position
  • Working closely with the Finance Team, Centre Managers and administrative staff in support of the Head of Finance
  • Focus on continuous improvement including participation in the development of reporting to the business

The details:

  • Permanent full time opportunity
  • Approx. $100,000 to $105,000 base salary + super + salary packaging benefits (if you've never worked for a NFP visit www.salary.com.au to find out how this translates to more in your take home pay)
  • Based at Macquarie Park with hybrid working options available

What you’ll bring

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or experience deemed equivalent
  • Professional Accounting Qualification (CA/CPA)
  • 5 years’ relevant post graduate business experience including accounting or commercial management role
  • Experience of providing financial advisor and/or financial business partnership support
  • Strong relationship, influencing and stakeholder management skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of financial accounting for Government grant funding is beneficial
  • Ability to work within an agile fast paced environment
  • Microsoft Dynamics Business Central or similar accounting software experience
