At Raise we exist to help young people. We do one thing, and we do it really well – youth mentoring.
Our best-practice, school-based program is proven to make positive and sustained change. Mentoring empowers young people to be resilient, connected and hopeful for the future. We match trained volunteers with teenagers who would benefit most from an independent, caring adult who is there to listen – and be there just for them.
Our early intervention youth mentoring program is currently in over 150 high schools across Australia. This translates to over 2,000 young people matched with a qualified mentor, and we are growing each year.
To help us achieve our strategic impact plan for growth, we are looking for an exceptional person to step into this newly created position, focused on growing our school partnerships across Australia.
Reporting to the Program Director, this position works closely with key internal stakeholders, including the Program Leadership Team - Program Director, State Managers, and relevant external stakeholders, including School Principals, School Wellbeing Teams, State Department of Education representatives, and Regional Directors to identify, cultivate, and secure successful long term school partnerships with Raise Foundation.
As with all of our employees, you have a genuine interest in the wellbeing of young people facing challenges in their lives.
You’re a highly self-motivated and tenacious self-starter, you possess strong problem-solving skills coupled with the initiative to develop and implement effective solutions.
You have had prior experience in collaborative partnership and stakeholder management related roles. You are confident in pursuing new long-term school partnerships and secure these opportunities for the Programs Leadership Team to present.
At Raise, we are passionate about our work and the benefits we create for our mentees, mentors, staff team, partners, and communities. Every day we strive to create thriving communities through best practice youth mentoring programs and make a positive impact on the lives of those who come into contact with us. We have six values that express our shared understanding of what we believe, how we aim to behave, how we would like others to see our personality, and what we aspire to be as an organisation. We expect our team members to be comfortable operating by these values.
Be Courageous – we are imaginative, driven, progressive, confident

Give Respect – we believe in acceptance, equity, inclusivity
Apply Integrity – we operate with authenticity, accountability, transparency
