About Raise:

At Raise we exist to help young people. We do one thing, and we do it really well – youth mentoring.

Our best-practice, school-based program is proven to make positive and sustained change. Mentoring empowers young people to be resilient, connected and hopeful for the future. We match trained volunteers with teenagers who would benefit most from an independent, caring adult who is there to listen – and be there just for them.

Our early intervention youth mentoring program is currently in over 150 high schools across Australia. This translates to over 2,000 young people matched with a qualified volunteer mentor, and we are growing each year.

About you:

You are an energetic and passionate professional who has had prior experience in team admin support, program coordination or another business administration role. Being the first point of contact for our program team, you will be welcoming, with an accommodating, can-do attitude. You’re a highly self-motivated and tenacious self-starter, you possess strong problem-solving skills coupled with the initiative to develop and implement effective solutions.

You will have advanced IT Skills including experience in Microsoft Office365, cloud-based systems such as Google Drive or OneDrive and a CRM or Program Delivery System like Salesforce is important, as this position will require a high level of technical skills.

You can think creatively, identify and proactively recommend work process efficiency ideas to improve processes for the team. You enjoy working collaboratively with functional teams to solve wider business challenges.

About the role:

Our amazing Programs Team is responsible for developing and delivering evidence-based programs that are continuously improved upon to meet and exceed the sector’s benchmarks.

As we embark on a journey to expand our presence in high schools across the country, we have an exciting, opportunity for a Programs Team Coordinator to join our National team supporting our Program Delivery teams across the country.

Be responsible for the support of our State Managers and program delivery teams, via the management of leads and enquiries, booking travel, research, booking meetings, distributing agendas and providing personal assistance and support.

This role can be based in either Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane and is permanent full-time.

Success in this role looks like:

  • ­The provision of exceptional team support to our program delivery teams across the country.
  • Executive assistance support to our VIC/TAS and QLD/SA/WA State Managers
  • ­­The foresight to review, develop and implement efficient systems and processes for the Programs Team drive greater program outcomes
  • Management and maintenance of the Raise Digital Village (powered by Salesforce) to ensure accurate and timely reporting, data integrity and team support for use of the system.

Do you have these skills and experiences?

  • A genuine interest in the wellbeing of young people facing profound challenges in their lives.
  • Prior experience in providing team support in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with program coordination, office management or other business administration /support role
  • Excellent IT skills including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office365, CRM or Program Delivery systems such as Salesforce, and cloud-based systems such as One Drive or Google Drive
  • Experience using video creation software such as Loom to make short instructional videos
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with an ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
  • Experience in administering reports within a CRM database (Salesforce) and ability to analyze reports to identify data integrity issues or opportunities
  • The ability to think creatively and work collaboratively with functional teams to solve business challenges
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate and build rapport with a variety of different stakeholders
  • Hold current WWCC or willingness to obtain a valid clearance
  • Experience working in a not for profit or social enterprise organisation is desirable
  • Relevant qualifications in Business Administration desirable
