About the Role

We're looking for a highly organised and proactive business development coordinator to support the growth of Raise's fundraising pipeline. This role sits at the centre of Raise's fundraising activity, helping to identify opportunities, coordinate outreach, generate meetings and keep fundraising opportunities moving from first contact through to proposal and partnership. 
 
Working closely with our fundraising team, your primary focus will be generating meetings that maximise Business Development Manager utilisation and maintaining strong CRM discipline to ensure opportunities continue moving through the fundraising pipeline. 
 
You'll help bring structure, momentum and follow-through to a busy environment while supporting the systems, processes, and relationships that underpin fundraising success. 

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Generating and coordinating meetings and introductions to maximise BDM utilisation 
  • Maintaining strong CRM hygiene (Salesforce), ensuring every opportunity has a current status, owner and next action 
  • Researching and identifying prospective donors, corporate partners, trusts, foundations and government opportunities 
  • Coordinating outreach campaigns, prospect engagement and follow-up activity 
  • Tracking opportunity progression and ensuring opportunities continue moving through the fundraising pipeline 
  • Supporting proposal development workflows and funding submissions 
  • Supporting fundraising team effectiveness through strong coordination and operational support

About you

You are highly organised, proactive and detail-oriented, with experience supporting fundraising, business development, partnerships, sales, or customer engagement activities. 
 
You bring: 

  • Experience in fundraising coordination, business development coordination, sales support, partnerships, account coordination or a similar role 
  • You love creating momentum, keeping things organised and ensuring opportunities don't fall through the cracks 
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines 
  • Experience using CRM systems, ideally Salesforce 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality data and reporting 
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to build strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
