ABOUT THE ROLE

A pivotal role managing social housing programs and providing leadership to the Social Housing Support program team.

  • Assist the Manager in supporting staff to meet program and agency goals.
  • Monitor caseload demands and allocate cases to team members.
  • Participate in the ongoing implementation, evaluation and monitoring of the program's service delivery requirements and contribute to program planning.
  • Assist the Manager in identifying and developing quality improvement initiatives.
  • Assist in the development, implementation and monitoring of the social housing programs.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Demonstrated experience in leadership.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement, monitor and evaluate services that meets clients' needs.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge for the Residential Tenancies Act 1997 and the VCAT Rules and Regulations.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of, or the ability to gain a strong understanding of Public Housing Policies and Procedures.
  • Valid Victorian Driver’s Licence/Working With Children Check/Police Check
  • Relevant Tertiary qualifications appropriate to the field.
