About the role:

The Better Futures Intake & Case Coordinator role in consultation with the Practice Leader and Agency Team Leaders will coordinate a centralised intake and initial response for all referrals seeking a Better Futures service offer in Gippsland. In this role you will also be responsible for providing education across Inner and Outer Gippsland to DHHS Child Protection and other Community Service Organisation's about Better Futures and the services offers. You will provide expert advice to case managers and care teams on transition planning from the child protection system as well as offering delegated advice and secondary consult to members of the team.

About you:

Are you motivated, enthusiastic with great communication skills; have extensive knowledge of the child protection system particularly relating to young people transitioning from care and case management practice and principles. The ability to work in a team, communicate with stakeholders, build relationships and network with the community to support young people transitioning from care. To be successful in the role you will also have an appropriate tertiary qualification (Diploma or above) and extensive experience relevant to this position.
