QPASTT is Queensland's specialist trauma recovery agency for refugees and people seeking asylum. Our vision is for refugee survivors of persecution to live lives liberated from the harms of torture, trauma and human rights injustice. We work throughout Queensland. Our drive is to contribute to the Queensland community in ways that make it a better place to belong for refugee survivors of torture and trauma.

THE ROLE

We are looking for a Senior Leader who is committed to our vision and mission and is passionate about helping us nurture our people and systems. This role is an important role within our Senior Leadership Team with responsibility for supporting QPASTT's organisational and administrative cultures.

We are looking for someone who can:

  • coordinate our operational administration including leading a small team
  • contribute to healthy organisational culture
  • build our people (through good recruitment, induction and exit processes)
  • enhance our profile
  • coordinate our stakeholder relationships
  • manage our facilities and assets
  • improve our ability to engage in a digital future
  • support the Co-CEOs to maintain a healthy and agile organisation that encourages innovation in service delivery
  • contribute to leadership culture in ways that enable us to achieve our strategic plan

THE PERSON

Experience

  • Strong understanding of the vision and mission of QPASTT.
  • Proven decision-making experience and leadership demonstrated in office administration and stakeholder management.
  • Ability to initiate, establish, and sustain a broad range of internal and external relationships with stakeholders.
  • Good understanding of operational systems and the ability to ensure that they are time and resource efficient and effective.
  • Demonstrated ability to see the “big picture” and understand the strategic context of QPASTT.

  • Demonstrated inclusive people management including experience in developing others.
