Duties/Abilities

Queensland Parks and Wildlife Services & Partnerships (QPWS&P) are currently seeking a suitable applicant for a permanent OO4 Ranger position at our Iron Range Ranger base (on Kutini-Payamu National Park). This position works closely with the Ranger In Charge and oversees other OO3 Rangers to assist with the delivery of the works program on base and across the Estate. Housing is provided on base, and this position supports focus areas such as pest, fire, estate, visitor, assets and safety management within the annual program.  Applicants with local working knowledge of the area would be highly advantageous, or a background / experience relevant to trade activities such as welding, construction or mechanical repairs would also be highly considered.
