We create positive social change through our work in advocacy, policy development, engaging and empowering our members, the social service sector, and communities across the state.

As a peak body, we provide professional development, learning and information sharing opportunities for the sector. We are always seeking new and interesting ways to connect and engage with our community. We are looking for someone to contribute innovative ways of learning and development to our work.

Key elements of the position:

  • Apply appropriate leaning and development models to prepare quality, evidence-based learning resources and materials to support delivery of sector capacity building and engagement programs.
  • Develop and deliver evidenced-based programs, projects and workshops that build the capacity of the community service sector including in energy and water literacy.
  • Apply appropriate project management practices and use contemporary and participatory consultant and engagement processes to encourage active engagement by diverse stakeholders.
  • Develop new and enhance relationships and networks with stakeholders and the community services sector.
  • Identify, respond to and report on service trends and the needs of the community service sector within scope and available resources.

About you:

  • Do you have the relevant qualifications and experience to fulfil the requirements of the position?
  • Do have demonstrated knowledge and experience applying adult learning principles?
  • Are you highly organised with demonstrated project management experience, self-reliant, and collaborative with the ability to multitask and manage competing priorities and stakeholder needs within agreed timeframes?
  • Can you undertake a diverse range of administrative supports and services with excellent attention to detail?
  • Do you have excellent communication skills, both written and interpersonal with the ability to draft a range of written content, and engage and build positive working relationships internally and externally with diverse stakeholders?
  • Are you familiar with issues related to energy and water literacy?
