We’re seeking an experienced data and reporting analyst to join the Research and Advice team to drive improvement in the management of data and reporting across the organisation to support decision making based on data-driven insights.

This position will help QCOSS move into a new phase as we work to achieve our Strategic Plan and Vision into 2021 and beyond.

Key elements of the position:

  • Manage the timely collection and analysis of a range of primary and secondary data sources that support the identification of emerging issues in the community sector.
  • Establish and manage a centralised data management system for QCOSS, including maintaining data quality.
  • Develop and maintain data that enables the provision of reliable, valid and accurate reporting.
  • Lead the analysis of both quantitative and qualitative data to translate insights into meaningful, evidence-based reports.
  • Implement relevant systems and strategies to improve the use of data across the organisation and support business improvement opportunities.
  • Prepare quality visual representations, reports, strategies, briefing papers and submissions.

About you:

  • Can you manage multiple tasks and projects within competing timeframes and achieve quality outcomes?
  • Do you have relevant qualifications and experience in management of data bases within a best practice framework?
  • Do you have excellent analytical, problem-solving and writing skills to meet a range of audiences internally and externally?
  • Can you collect, analyse and report on quantitative and/or qualitative data to inform decision making?
  • Are you adaptable and motivated with excellent communication skills and the ability to develop and maintain a range of internal and external relationships ?
