ADA Australia is a statewide, not-for-profit, independent, community-based advocacy and education service, supporting and improving the wellbeing of older people and people with disability. ADA Australia has 9 offices throughout Queensland, with its head office located in Brisbane Geebung.

ADA Australia is seeking applications for 3 full-time Diversity Educators. These positions are a SACS level 6.1 position under the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010. These positions are on a fixed-term full-time/part-time contract basis, until June 2023.

The purpose of the Diversity Educator position is to provide education to aged care providers, across all aged care delivery types, on the rights of all older people to access culturally safe and inclusive services. Education will be provided through eLearning modules, interactive learning series that include face-to-face workshops and virtual follow-up support, as well as a Community of Practice.
