About the Role

Our Service has grown organically over the past few years, and we are now looking to undertake a robust review of our Service offering to ensure we are providing the Service within the bounds of our funding and the compliance of our funding agreements, as well as assessing, analysing and reporting on our current processes, day to day operations and overall efficiencies/inefficiencies. This role is responsible for the development of strategic solutions for the Centre and our Service offering.

We are looking for an individual that does not shy away from a challenge, and is willing to undertake a fixed term project to review our service with a goal of optimising our service offering to women within our community.

This role is a fixed term full time position, that will be solely focused on undertaking an extensive and incredibly thorough Organisational Development project at PWHC. This project and therefore this role will end 30 June 2021.

Reporting directly to the Management Committee, the key responsibility of this role will be a large scale project which will analyse and report on the following items to ensure the Centre, service’s women's needs in the community in the most efficient way, whilst ensuring the achievement of funding requirements. This will include a robust review of the Centre’s:

  • Workforce composition in terms of structure, purpose, the ratio of managers to professional staff, clinical staff and administrative staff and the right demographic mix.
  • Current workforce and provide advice on the future potential workforce at the Centre, including but not limited to streamlining positions and structure, pay, identification of training needs, clear explanation of positions and responsibilities.
  • Capabilities, necessary to meet future goals and bridge any current gaps.
  • Employee numbers for each position and the skills required to achieve the Centre’s strategic and operational goals efficiently and effectively.
  • Costings and budget, including but not limited to an employee versus cost ratio’s, benchmarking pay, and reward, training budgets, cost of recruitment and development.
  • Current resourcing, with the aim of developing innovative resource management solutions and driving the implementation.

About You

This unique role would suit a HR Professional or leader with previous experience in health and/or not for profit government funded organisations.

The successful candidate will:

  • 3 + years in a HR role or Leadership role with demonstrated experience in Organisational Management, Workforce Planning or change management;
  • Demonstrate experience leading workforce planning in a growing and complex operational environment.
  • Demonstrate experience in the community health sector including knowledge of funding and funding frameworks.
  • Have previous experience in the administration of government funding requirements.
  • Significant experience in change management;
  • Previous experience in the managing and leading a project of a similar nature.
  • Excellent communication skills - your written communication style is just as important as your verbal.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Attention to detail, with high-level accuracy.
