About the role

Push Mobility products include manual wheelchairs, seating solutions, power assist products, beach access products and sporting equipment specifically for people with mobility disabilities. We are not a retail store.

No two days are the same for this hands on and super rewarding role that will see you managing a variety of tasks everyday. In a single day at Push you may be showcasing products, performing repairs and maintenance, visiting clients and rehab centres and more. You’ll get to work with individuals, their families or support staff, occupational therapists and physiotherapists. We have a very structured sales process making it easy for you to service your clients from start to end including everything from trialing equipment, ordering from the supplier and the final fitting and training with your client.

Key Aspects

  • Must be a caring, patient and respectful sales professional with a can do attitude
  • Great communication skills - both verbal and in writing
  • Able to learn quickly and prioritise tasks and time
  • Have the confidence to work alone with clients and therapists
  • Basic mechanical knowledge (essential)

Skills and experience

  • Ideally some experience within the disability sector, in sales and service, or training from a similar industry
  • A passion for helping people and making a difference in the lives of others. If you have exposure or any training in the Occupational Therapy field we would love to hear from you.
  • Experience or a genuine interest in the scripting seating process for people seeking mobility equipment would be ideal.
  • Some basic mechanical skills are needed to make adjustments and assemble equipment.
  • A current drivers licence is a must.

We are looking for someone who is energetic, eager to learn and can manage their own work schedule and communicate well with clients and colleagues.
