Be a manager of a small community-run organisation – and focus on the real needs of the people the organisation supports. Whether you call it Social Role Valorisation, Person-Centred Support or Active Support, we are seeking a manager who is experienced in providing the best possible support to people with disability and complex needs.

Our service supports just five people. They share a house together, and four of the housemates are also supported in meaningful daily activities in the local community. Our aim is to support people to have valued social roles that enable them access to the good things of life, just like everybody else.

Because of our philosophy and our size, we are able to focus on the real needs of the people we support and not be distracted by non-programmatic issues.

As manager, you will be the most senior employee.

• Working closely with the individuals supported and their families: Especially when exploring new roles, relationships and places in the community, you will be a role model of positive support.
• Supporting staff: You will lead and mentor staff in the provision of quality support.
• Leading the multidisciplinary collaboration: You will lead our unique model of collaboration with allied health professionals and Support Coordinators to ensure that we are aligned in supporting the housemates to occupy valued social roles and enjoy the good things of life.
• Rostering: You undertake rostering, to match the requirements of the person being supported with staff members both at home and in the community.
• Administration: There is some administration involved, but we keep things simple and keep our focus on the needs of the housemates.

We are located in the beautiful NSW South Coast town of Ulladulla, an area renowned for its welcoming community, beaches and beautiful national parks.
