About the Role

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, you will be responsible for leading and managing the delivery of specialist services, support and advocacy for people experiencing family and domestic violence. You will lead five direct reports and a large service delivery team to provide information and referral, crisis support, practical assistance, advocacy and emotional support services across multiple sites. 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a complex service portfolio within a shared leadership framework
  • Foster collaboration and partnerships both internally and externally as part of an integrated approach to domestic and family violence
  • Manage budgets and financial performance of programs, working collaboratively with Organisational Services to support financial reporting outcomes
  • Promote quality and safety initiatives, and ensure operational compliance in line with service agreements and legislative requirements
  • Review current processes and procedures, and implement continuous improvement frameworks to create efficiencies and quality assurance
  • Communicate with impact about service efforts and outcomes

Skills and Experience Required 

  • Relevant tertiary qualification(s) coupled with experience ideally in human services
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience working within a shared leadership and management framework, delivering quality outcomes and services
  • Knowledge, or the ability to acquire knowledge, of the complex dynamics of domestic and family violence
  • Highly developed stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to lead an integrated approach to human services
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the capability of communicating with impact about efforts and outcomes
