Company Coordinator

Pure Finance

Want to be part of a team helping to make finance a force for good from within? Maybe you’re Pure Finance’s new Company Coordinator + Administrative Extraordinaire!

At Pure Finance, we are a Sydney-based mortgage brokerage and loan advisory but we like to do things a little differently. We are a certified B Corp, and believe that a financial services company can (and should) exist solely to benefit its customers and the wider community. We embrace flexible work and diversity, and we love to hire from outside the finance industry. No suit, no worries. But enough about us, let’s talk about you…

In this role, you will:

  • Be the smiling face, friendly voice or happy tapper at the end of Pure Finance’s email inbox, phone line and mailbox
  • Roll out the green carpet for new community members with a phone call, welcome email and add their details to our CRM
  • Be the first port of call for our community and respond to incoming enquiries
  • Follow up and support people to see if they need further assistance, calculations for their loan, or just a chat
  • Create and send monthly reports for our referral partners
  • Do the general reporting for the company so that the team has good visibility of the impact we’re making for our community and the world at all times
  • Organise gifts, information packs and the occasional event for our community
  • Provide ad-hoc project support to the team on scenario and strategy planning, bank applications, Annual Reviews
  • Contribute to managing our free education platform Ladies Talk Money and soon-to-be launching non-profit arm ‘Yours’
  • Have the chance to learn how to help people with their finance needs and provide solutions to help them achieve their goals

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be based in Sydney
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills, which is vital as you will likely be the first point of contact for the community
  • Be a whiz with the details and incredibly organised at managing multiple priorities
  • Be discerning and able to keep client information confidential
  • Be energetic and willing to try their hand at anything
  • Be passionate about equality, justice and making finance a force for good
  • Have some innovative ideas about how we can make Pure Finance even better
  • Have experience volunteering or contributing to community projects
  • Be able to problem solve efficiently and willing to lend a hand wherever needed
  • Have experience in customer service and community management
  • Have experience using CRMs, Wordpress and Canva
  • Be happy to help out wherever needed, and not just look after their ‘patch’

Salary and perks

This is a full-time (38 hours per week) role with a base salary of $65,000 + super. At Pure Finance, we work hard but we also like to enjoy the finer things in life. That’s why we are happy to offer you, our newest team member, a few perks that make it easier to show up and do your best work, including:

  • An additional week of paid leave on top of your 10 sick days, 10 personal/carers leave days, and four weeks of vacation leave
  • The option to work flexibly and remotely (from home or another location) when it suits you, and our community, best
  • 50 hours a year (paid) to volunteer with causes you care about
  • 11.5% super - 2% higher than the mandatory 9.5% Superannuation Guarantee
  • Free personal financial advisory services from our friends at Fox & Hare Wealth to enhance financial literacy

The world is facing big challenges, and our industry needs to be on the forefront of change. That change starts with us. That change starts with you.
