Since 2003, ProCare Australia has been the leading specialist recruitment agency for the community service sector in Australia, providing casual, locum and permanent career opportunities.
We have been recruiting across Child Protection, Youth and Family Support, Residential Services, Counselling, Community Development, Multicultural Affairs, Social Housing, Disability and Mental Health sectors throughout Australia for 18 years.
ProCare Australia's National Manager, Angela Anthonisz, and the majority of our Recruitment Consultants are both sector qualified, and have extensive experience working in the community services sector, so we have a true understanding of the needs of the clients we support.
Are you looking to step away from frontline work, but wanting to retain your values and practice framework and apply it to a new challenge?
Working at ProCare Australia will allow you to use your knowledge and experience to support a variety of not for profit and government organisations to match quality talent from the sector to the right roles.
Our ideal candidate will have qualifications and experience working in the Community Services sector.
We are seeking applicants with determination to solve problems and deliver positive outcomes for our valued clients. If you are motivated to succeed - with an ethical approach - we welcome you to consider joining our high performing team.
Full training is provided, and your diverse role will include all areas of recruitment - advertising, headhunting, talent sourcing, screening, interviewing, reference checking, completing probity checks, onboarding, candidate engagement and retention, responding to clients in a timely manner, matching candidates to suitable opportunities, preparing submissions to present to clients and most importantly - building and maintaining relationships with both candidates and clients.
We are looking for someone who has excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), has a sense of urgency while still maintaining strong attention to detail, someone with emotional intelligence and the ability to build and maintain relationships with both candidates and clients, someone who is solution focused and can get creative when solving problems, and someone who wants to delight both candidates and clients.
Having a diverse workforce that represents the wider Australian community is very important in Community Services and ProCare Australia actively encourage applications from people with disabilities, from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, LGBTQIA+ people, and all genders.
We recognise the richness of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and the unique knowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employees bring to the workplace, policy development and programs. We welcome and encourage applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
