ProCare Australia's National Manager, Angela Anthonisz, and the majority of our Recruitment Consultants are both sector qualified, and have extensive experience working in the community services sector, so we have a true understanding of the needs of the clients we support.

The Role

Full training is provided, and your diverse role will include all areas of recruitment - advertising, headhunting, talent sourcing, screening, interviewing, reference checking, completing probity checks, onboarding, candidate engagement and retention, responding to clients in a timely manner, matching candidates to suitable opportunities, preparing submissions to present to clients and most importantly - building and maintaining relationships with both candidates and clients.

What do you need to succeed in the role?

We are looking for someone who has excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), has a sense of urgency while still maintaining strong attention to detail, someone with emotional intelligence and the ability to build and maintain relationships with both candidates and clients, someone who is solution focused and can get creative when solving problems, and someone who wants to delight both candidates and clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ongoing recruitment of community services professionals to meet vacancies, including sourcing, engaging, and assessing skills and values alignment through interviews and reference checking
  • Implementing registration processes and probity checking
  • Developing trusting and productive partnerships with community service organisations
  • Sourcing new customers through referrals, networks and relationships
  • Providing high level customer services and problem solving
  • Understanding key requirements for each role and managing recruitment campaigns for effective outcomes, including advertising and process management
  • Matching and rostering staff into short term casual shifts and providing clear communication of job requirements
  • Providing a high quality, fast and responsive placement service to meet customers' and candidates needs
  • Maintaining accurate and updated staff and client information using ProCare's databases and systems

About You

  • Minimum Diploma level qualification in Community Services
  • Experience working in the Community Services Sector
  • You are self-motivated with an ethical approach to your work and can achieve results with accuracy and professionalism
  • You will have strong assessment skills and the demonstrated capacity to match community professionals skill sets & preferences to a range of positions within the Industry
  • You will have demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining effective customer relationships with professionals
  • You possess strong written and verbal communication skills including the capacity to positively negotiate and influence and provide strong customer service.
  • You will possess a strong attention to detail and demonstrated experience in prioritising tasks, managing processes and developing solutions to issues.
  • You possess the ability to work autonomously and contribute to a positive team harmony.
  • You are proficient in using computers, with word processing, database, email and internet skills.

Salary and Benefits

  • Base Salary of $60,000 - $70,000 + Super + Monthly Bonus Structure
