Work within a small, newly established Program Operations team of five people to support Primary Health Tasmania’s operational business areas to interpret the requirements and guidelines of funded health agreements and organisational health strategies, priorities and program logics and turn them into health system initiatives that deliver positive health outcomes for the Tasmanian community.
The focus of your role is to provide leadership and accountability for the delivery of complex health initiatives as described through Primary Health Tasmania Health Strategies and Australian Government funding schedules that are undertaken by Primary Health Tasmania.
The Health Program Lead coordinates, facilitates and directs staff resources from across the organisation to enable streamlined and timely allocation of resources to deliver identified activities. The Health Program Lead applies Primary Health Tasmania’s health program, project management and other business processes, systems, and tools to coordinate activity to achieve the objectives, milestones and deliverables of Primary Health Tasmania identified initiatives.
The role is expected to ensure that individual initiatives are contributing effectively to programmatic priorities and Primary Health Tasmania’s performance against its strategic plan.
