Pride Disability Services:
Pride Disability Services is an innovative and dynamic organisation that supports LGBTIQ+ and Gender Diverse individuals with both physical and intellectual disabilities in the community.
THE ROLE:
- Have an understanding of LGBTIQ+ services and able to respond to the needs of someone that Identifies with the LGBTIQ & gender diverse individuals.
- Supports communication with key stakeholders across the community and service system.
- Providing administrative support to the Regional Manager.
- Support the development, implementation and maintenance of effective administrative systems and processes.
- Supports building the regional administration service delivery, and training program.
- Supporting our regional offices, data analysis and reporting and other administrative tasks.
- Ensure clients' cultural independence, social image & dignity is always respected & upheld.
- Other duties as directed by the Regional Manager.
- Promote and ensure adherence to policies, processes and code of conduct through assisting the HR department in performance management processes.
- Work autonomously and as part of a team to troubleshoot and develop rostering solutions for clients & Support Workers.
- Ensure compliance with all internal & external requirements including reporting and accreditation requirements.
- Management of client intake and reviewing Client plans.
- Lead a team of Disability Support Workers including identifying professional development requirements.
- Delivery of quality support for individual clients, including relevant advocacy on behalf of clients and families.
- Ensuring consumer services are scheduled in a timely manner, liaising with relevant stakeholders to ensure efficient use of resources and in according with our consumer’s needs.
- Providing timely notification to consumers in relation to alterations to schedules where necessary.
- Initiative and a responsive approach to resolving issues and supporting the team.
- Develop & facilitate social activity/ connections groups for participants/ Clients.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
Have an understanding of LGBTIQA and gender diverse individuals services and able to respond to the needs of someone that Identifies with the LGBTIQ+.
Knowledge of the NDIS and Disability Community industry.
