Board Member, Fundraising (voluntary)

Prevention United

Mental health conditions are common, distressing, and potentially disabling. Their personal, social and economic impacts are considerable.

But these conditions are not inevitable and there is good scientific evidence to show that common conditions like depression and anxiety can be prevented from occurring in the first place through evidence-based programs and social policies that tackle the underlying risk and protective factors.

Prevention United is a mental health charity with a difference. We aim to promote mental wellbeing and prevent mental health conditions from occurring in the first place.
