This newly created position is responsible for growing fundraising across PresCare by planning, developing and implementing a fundraising strategy that links closely to our strategic plan. Responsibilities will include a portfolio of fundraising initiatives, donor development, grants and sponsorship.
Reporting to the General Manager of Customer Experience, this position is key in building a network of connecting services for our clients and customers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and managing individual giving programs (including appeals), regular giving, bequests, fundraising events, grants and corporate partnerships
- Researching, identifying, cultivating and securing new funding opportunities to grow income
- Working closely with the Marketing Team in planning and managing marketing efforts with regards to fundraising activities
- Ensuring that all fundraising activities operate with the PresCare Core Values and all relevant fundraising regulations
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- 3 years’ experience delivering fundraising programs within the not-for-profit sector
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to engage in building relationships with supporters
- Qualifications in fundraising, marketing, communications or related discipline
- Experience using a fundraising CRM and the understanding of the importance of information management
- Demonstrated knowledge of fundraising standards, practices and guiding principles
