Mediation provides an alternative to formal legal processes for families who want to improve their family relationships and focussed on the best interests of children. As a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner, you will assist separating families to make arrangements for their children and/or property. You will work with families to resolve matters in relation to parenting and property and will be capable of working with families with complex needs, including those with family violence issues.
This role is a part time contract until June 2024 and may include some intrastate travel.
You are committed to maintaining professional practice and providing culturally sensitive services that aim to strengthen family relationships with a particular focus on the children’s needs. You are motivated by establishing respectful, meaningful, inclusive and collaborative relationships with your clients and our team. You are a skilled negotiator and communicator with effective conflict resolution skills.

We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced candidate to commence immediately.
The successful candidate must also possess a current National Police Clearance valid within one year, a Working with Children Check and a current Driver’s License.
