The Australian Pollinator Alliance Inc. is a community based not-for-profit organisation which promotes the health of bees and all pollinators by delivering honeybee education for children and adults. Through our Bee School Incursion program, we raise awareness about how bees are under threat and how important they are in our food supply.

We have a casual teaching positions available throughout Victoria to help us deliver our Bee School - schools beekeeping incursion program. This is an opportunity for a beekeeper or qualified teacher or someone experienced in play-based education. The successful applicant will receive curriculum specific training in order to share our sustainable philosophy and uphold our values.

Note; while we are based in Melbourne, we are looking for Bee School Teachers from across the state. Successful applicants must be willing to travel to Melbourne for Teacher training.

About you...

You love bees! You care about their future and you want to share that with the next generation.
You’re comfortable around bees.

You love kids! You are a natural at engaging and entertaining kids aged 3 -12 years of age.
You have a current Working with Children Check and a Police Check.

You love driving! You have a reliable car and will be able to drive it around as the Bee School grows.

A bit more about you that we’d love to have (but wouldn’t be a deal breaker without)...

You love teaching! You are a qualified teacher or you have completed a Certificate of Training and Assessment.
