Ninti One (Ninti) is an Indigenous, Supply Nation registered not-for-profit organisation. We have offices in Alice Springs and Adelaide, with staff and associates based in other States and Territories. We work collaboratively with communities and relevant agencies to achieve social and economic development outcomes. Since our establishment in 2003, Ninti has been building opportunities for communities through research, innovation and engagement in Australia – and more recently, in a range of sectors across the Pacific and Asia.
Ninti works with partners to influence systems to deliver better outcomes for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples, by learning about what works in communities, helping organisations be more effective, sharing our perspectives and advocating for change. Our solutions are tailored to the context and needs of our clients, which include service delivery organisations, government agencies, philanthropic organisations and corporates with a demonstrated commitment to social impact. We work in a broad range of areas including Aged Care, Children and Families, Disability, Education, Employment, Health and International and Regional Development. Ninti’s vision is to build opportunities with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, through research, innovation and community engagement.
Reporting to the Senior Aboriginal Community Engagement Officer, the Community and Stakeholder Engagement Officer (CSEO) will play a key role in supporting Ninti’s implementation of a variety of projects and programs that create positive outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. The main focus for the CSEO will be on undertaking community and stakeholder engagement, research and capacity building-related tasks in one or more of the following sectors: early childhood development; education; health; employment; and aged care.
We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated individual with existing strong Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community relationships to develop, foster and maintain positive relationships with Ninti Stakeholders. You will be a team player with strong organisational, communication, and research skills. You will be required to travel extensively throughout Australia. A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field is preferable (but not essential).
