What You Will Be Doing

The Peninsula Health Mental Health Service includes our Frankston and Mornington Community Services, Access and Assessment Team AAT (CATT), Mental Health Consultation Liaison (ECATT), Intensive Treatment Team (ITT), Intensive Recovery Team (IRT) and specialist Aged and Youth Community Mental Health teams.

With the release of the Royal Commission into Victoria's Mental Health System Final Report we are proud to be expanding our team to better meet the needs of the community. We have a variety of roles across our Service including Mental Health Clinicians, Senior Mental Health Clinicians and Case Managers; we are happy to discuss what may be suited to you based on your unique experience, qualifications, skill set and career goals.

Your role may include providing mental health assessment, treatment and support to clients and working closely with families and carers involving them in goal setting and care and discharge planning.

  • Based in South-East Victoria, Peninsula Health’s catchment zone includes Frankston, Mornington Peninsula and parts of the City of Kingston and is less than an hour from Melbourne CBD.
  • We have Monday – Friday positions as well as 7 day rostered positions with part time or full time hours to suit your lifestyle.
  • Salary Range of $80,000 to $100,000 per annum (full time) dependent on your qualification and experience.

What You Need

We anticipate you will have:

  • Registration as a Registered Nurse, Social Worker, Occupational Therapist or Clinical Psychologist
  • Extensive experience in the mental health field including acute inpatient services or community mental health care.
  • Proven ability in the management of clients with a major mental illness and in the techniques of assessment, crisis intervention, counselling and psychosocial rehabilitation
