This is an exciting leadership role in our Corporate Communications & Philanthropy department. The Head of Philanthropy leads a team of energetic and passionate fundraisers who are focused on building relationships, raising funds for Peninsula Health and growing community engagement. We are seeking a positive, passionate fundraiser who is looking to take the next step in their Philanthropy career.

What You Will Be Doing

The Head of Philanthropy is an integral leadership position in the Corporate Communications & Philanthropy (CCP) department at Peninsula Health. Reporting to the Director, CCP, the role will lead on delivering the organisation's Philanthropy Strategy. It is also expected to lead and inspire the Philanthropy team, while delivering on fundraising targets, growing partnerships and maintaining ROI. The role is also responsible for procuring major gifts and bequests, managing the department's budget and delivering on all direct mail campaigns.

What You Need

We anticipate you will have:

  • Experience in a senior philanthropic role
  • Proven record in developing successful fundraising campaigns
  • Ability to manage and inspire a team
  • Experience within a healthcare organisation
