  • Permanent, Part time 30 hours per week across 2 locations
  • $27.27 - $27.96 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)

We are currently seeking a passionate and professional OSHC Assistant Coordinator to join the team at our PCYC Atherton and Mareeba OSHC Services. As the Assistant Coordinator, you will assist with the management of the daily activities between both Services, and supervise the staff and programs. Your New Role

Reporting to the OSHC Coordinator, you will be one of our valuable Assistant Coordinators who support the Coordinator to ensure both the Services meet all operating requirements. You will be responsible for assisting with and overseeing the development of engaging and nurturing programs for the children, and ensuring all daily operations are well-managed and efficient.

About You

  • Blue Card: "Working With Children Check (Blue Card) No Card, No Start and Restricted Person legislation applies to all applicants". 
  • Minimum Certificate III in an area of study applying to childcare workers, and enrolled in a Diploma in children’s studies or relevant qualification
  • Experience working within the OSHC/Childcare sector
  • Hold a Working with Children Check/Blue Card (or able to obtain)
  • Hold a light rigid driver’s licence and a Restricted Drivers' Authority (or ability to obtain)
  • Hold a current First Aid and CPR certificate (or able to obtain)
  • Please note: All PCYC employees are required to complete a National Police Check upon commencement.
