We are currently seeking passionate and keen Community Development Officer to work across our PCYC Cairns and Edmonton Youth Club. If you are enthusiastic and have a gusto for increasing youth involvement in programs and events, then we want you!
Braking the Cycle (BTC) is our driver mentor program designed to support learner drivers without access to a supervisor or registered vehicle to complete their logbook hours. The aim of the program is to provide young people with increased employment opportunities and driver education.
Reporting to the Youth Club Manager, you will be responsible for the implementation, delivery and ongoing management of the Braking the Cycle Driving Program within the Youth Club, including the recruitment and training of Mentors for the Program. This position cultivates positive outcomes and opportunities both personally and as a community.
We are a not-for-profit organisation aiming to build safer and healthier communities. We focus on young people's personal and leadership development by offering state-wide programs, services and facilities through 54 Youth Clubs, two Leadership Development Centres, two Activity Centres and 113 Outside School Hours Care Services.
