About the role

We are currently seeking an Occupational Therapist for our Allied Health team. This position is a Part-time Parental Leave Relief Position ending in approximately April to mid May 2023. This position will be responsible for providing high-quality client services through holistic clinical assessment and treatment programs for individuals built on restorative and reablement principles in the client’s home. While also providing advice on simple equipment prescriptions, minor and/or major home modifications, and a proactive approach that includes falls prevention & manual handling education.

About you

  • Positive “can do” attitude with a client focus and genuine passion for delivering the best client experience every time;
  • High written and verbal communication skills;
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications;
  • Current AHPRA registration;
  • Current NSW Drivers licence and a safe driving record;
  • Current NDIS Worker Check;
  • Current Working With Children Check;
  • Experience in the aged or community care sector;
  • Experience in a similar role; and
  • ADSSI requires all staff prior to commencing employment to have had their first and second COVID Vaccination dose and any Booster Vaccination as it falls due and in line with Government recommendations
