Pathways to Resilience is a Brisbane-based NFP widely acknowledged for the impactful consultancy it provides to the early childhood, primary education and community services sectors. Their high-quality workshops and programs enable young people, their educators and families to receive practical advice that supports individuals wellbeing whilst building greater resilience.

As Lead Consultant, reporting to the Executive Officer, you will manage a dedicated, experienced team to deliver the Community Wellbeing and Empowerment Program. You are responsible for facilitating the professional development programs for educators, parents and children and this will only occur by building strong working relationships in communities throughout Queensland. This diverse, autonomous role is exciting and the key challenges you will face include:

  • Consulting with clients to identify and scope existing needs before preparing and implementing project plans;
  • Establishing a strong network of collaborative relationships with clients in the communities to expedite project deliverables;
  • Managing your team of consultants to enable them to deliver the training, mentoring and coaching of the various programs and workshops in a variety of environments and when required participate in the delivery phase;
  • Ensuring appropriate documentation of projects to detect areas for improvement and professional development opportunities;
  • Completing timely project reporting on the conclusion of each project

A degree qualified individual who has had significant practical experience in education, counselling or social work is required. Your career has given you exposure to managing projects, facilitating professional development workshops and programs, developing an understanding of community development and knowledge of neuroscience and how it can be used in educational programs to help improve social and emotional wellbeing.
