Your role:

As a Program Manager at OzChild you will continue the development and delivery of Foster Care in Victoria. Provide operational advice, manage, lead and support your teams and work with DFFH to deliver an effective and efficient foster care program. As the Program Manager Foster Care you will provide positive leadership to 5 direct reports and 220 carers.

What you will do:

• Ensure programs are adhering to program requirements and meeting foster care targets
• Deliver evidence-based practice and leadership
• Report and provide feedback to our key internal and external stakeholders including DFFH
• Ensure any barriers are overcome for case managers and carer supervisors
• Provide direct and indirect supervision and management support to team leaders

Who we are looking for:

• Tertiary Qualification in, Psychology, Social Work or health and human services equivalent
• Postgraduate studies in management or leadership beneficial
• Strong leadership skills
• Experience in the foster care or out of home care sector would be highly regarded
• Demonstrated knowledge and skills working with disadvantaged and vulnerable families
• Knowledge and understanding of Child Protection in VIC
• In depth understanding of family systems
• In depth knowledge of theory relating to trauma, abuse and neglect
• Current driving license (essential)
