We are looking for an experienced and exceptional leader to fill the role of Director of Services NSW. This is your chance to work in an organisation that is breaking new ground in service provision in Australia. OzChild is the largest provider of evidence-based programs in the child protection sector in Australia, providing a range of programs that improve family functioning, problem behaviour in both children and adults, drug use, mental ill health, and domestic and family violence.

Responsible for our service delivery in NSW you will lead robust evidence-based programs such as Functional Family Therapy, Multisystemic Therapy – Child Abuse and Neglect and Treatment Foster Care Oregon and successfully engage with sector partners and stakeholders at all levels to deliver positive outcomes for children, young people and their families.

Reporting to the Executive Director of Services & Practice, the Director of Services NSW will:

  • Provide leadership to approx. 70 employees across 10 teams.
  • Explore opportunities to broaden OzChild’s service delivery across NSW in line with the organisation’s strategic priorities.
  • Optimise our strategic relationships with key stakeholders and partners.
  • Use and facilitate evidence-based decision making.
  • Build the OzChild profile and set us up for success.

Who are we looking for?

  • A thought leader with a mix of people leadership, operational leadership and business skills
  • Post graduate studies in a relevant area will be highly regarded
  • Expertise in a similar role or organisation in the not-for-profit sector
  • Strategic and passionate leadership
  • Highly developed communication skills and ability to engage people at all levels
  • Experience in the delivery of evidence-based program advantageous.

This is a pivotal leadership role directing the work of the organisation to fulfil its goal of sustained and continued growth. It is a Director role that will suit a progressive leader with a collaborative and inclusive approach wanting to drive innovative and disruptive solutions.

Salary Package would be $ 170,000 circa which is including of super, salary packaging & car / car allowance
