Our Watch has been funded by the Commonwealth Department of Social Services (DSS) to support the growth of quality prevention activity across Australia as part of the fourth and final
Action Plan of the National Plan to Reduce Violence Against Women and their Children 2010-2022.
Our Watch will work with DSS grant recipients over the project period 2020-2022 to strengthen their capability for designing and implementing prevention strategies to eliminate violence against women. There are two grants streams through which Our Watch will provide capacity building and evaluation support – Men as role models for preventing violence against women and their children and Community-led projects to prevent violence against women and their children. The evaluation component builds grant recipient evaluative capacity and facilitates a evaluation at project and program level.
The position requires the incumbent to have:
Experience in writing complex evaluation reports for government and translating key findings to inform emerging practice will be highly valuable.
