About the role

The Media and Communications Advisor plays a key role in supporting the delivery of both proactive and reactive media and communications activity across Our Watch, to protect and enhance the organisation’s reputation and engage target audiences in action to prevent violence against women and their children.

Reporting to the Senior Media and Communications Advisor – Engagement, and working as part of cross-functional project teams, the Media and Communications Advisor supports the development, implementation and evaluation of the organisation’s media and communications activity.

About you

You will have experience supporting the creation of proactive media plans, responding quickly to reactive media opportunities, researching and drafting opinion pieces and messaging, and assisting with communications support for projects across the organisation.
