Your new job

You will drive system maintenance and improvement for the finance team's technology platforms, act as a business partner for various areas, and support the financial accounting function.

You will add value by:

• Administer and maintain financial systems and processes to deliver robust and secure finance operations
• Promote continuous improvement and system user adoption
• Collaborating with Orygen's internal stakeholders to develop budgets and forecasts, track performance, provide management reporting and analysis, and offer sound financial advice to all levels of management.
• Providing accounting support to meet reporting requirements, including payroll journals & reconciliations, completing month-end processes, prepare year-end papers, and project / funding reconciliations.
• Managing related party recharge reconciliations, queries, and building and maintaining strong working relationships across this group.

What you’ll need

You are passionate, energetic and determined to make a difference to health and wellbeing outcomes for young people. The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

• A relevant tertiary degree in accounting/finance with CA/CPA qualifications.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in administering financial systems
• Experience with Power BI reporting, D365 Business Central, and MAGIQ budgeting/forecasting systems.
• Demonstrated knowledge of financial accounting, including payroll accounting and statutory reporting.
• A proven ability to identify and implement process and system improvements.
• Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, macros, VBA, Power Pivot, Power Query) and experience developing financial models.

• $100,000 – $110,000 base salary (commensurate with experience), plus 11.5% super, $15,900 NFP salary packaging, and $2,600 NFP meals allowance.
• Hybrid working, 2-3 days onsite at our Parkville office.
