headspace Melton is seeking an Enhanced Access to Mental Health Clinician (in schools) to support the Clinical Programs team and help to improve the mental health and lives of our young people. Part-time (0.6 FTE) fixed term position available until 30 June 2022, with potential for further employment.
This role is part of a multidisciplinary approach to mental health care for young people. The Enhanced Access to Mental Health Clinician is responsible for providing clinical triage, intake, advice, support, advocacy, assessment and brief intervention services in order to enhance the physical and mental health outcomes of young people with mental health conditions living in the community
As the Enhanced Access to Mental Health Clinician, you will be committed to providing clinically effective, youth friendly and individually focused therapeutic interventions that are evidence-based, best-practice assessment and intervention for a diverse range of mental health issues experienced by young persons enrolled in secondary education.
You may also support the planning, delivery and evaluation of community awareness, education initiatives aligned to this program. With support, some inreach (on location at schools) may also be required.

Depending on your skills and experience, a salary of $58,707 – $76,867 p.a. pro rata is offered plus superannuation and access to generous NFP salary packaging.
