The Opportunity

We are seeking a Communications Lead to join the Business Transformation team and be a part of one of the biggest transformations and change management projects to occur within Orygen.

The role and your impact

An exciting opportunity to support the realisation of many years of work to create a more unified mental health system of care for young people and their families. 

As the Communications Lead, you will work with the communications team to refine the transformation program approach and develop project/stream communication strategies to address the risks and impacts of change. Critical to this role is an understanding of stakeholder needs and perceptions and determining appropriate strategies for implementing project related communication deliverables. This also includes educating stakeholders about transformational changes that are leveraged across the program.

Working across and supporting both the program’s Change and Delivery streams, you will ensure sustainable and positive outcomes/ experience from project implementation.

About you

Essential to be successful in this role and to be considered, you will need to have a tertiary qualification in communications or a health-related discipline, and extensive experience working in communications in a health or research environment. In addition, you will have: 

  • Ability to work with and support young people to share their stories in ways that empower them and advance organisational goals.
  • Experience developing and delivering internal communications campaigns.
  • Experience developing and managing content across multiple communications channels.
  • Proven communication experience in complex programs.
  • Highly developed organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure in a team environment to meet deadlines.

Generous salary commensurate with skills and experience of successful candidate plus 10% superannuation and access to NFP salary packaging with potential to significantly increase take home pay.
