About Orange Sky

Orange Sky Australia (OS) is a not-for-profit organisation focused on the provision of free laundry and showers to people experiencing homelessness. We're growing, and fast. Since 2014, we've expanded our reach to every capital city in Australia and most recently establishing Orange Sky New Zealand.

We have big goals of supporting and connecting 40,000 people through Orange Sky services, and we’re looking for a talented Volunteer Engagement Coordinator to help achieve this.

The Role

We’re always looking to increase our impact and help more Friends on the street – striving to continually improve is in our DNA at Orange Sky. This role is a key member of our dynamic Operations Team, and vital to the smooth operation and improvement of services across Australia.

In a nutshell, this role is responsible for:

• Developing, coordinating and delivering volunteer engagement and lifecycle management programs and activities
• Driving quality and consistency of service and culture across our nationwide services
• Manage volunteer human resources matters, including end-to-end management of the volunteer lifecycle in conjunction with the People & Engagement Team
• Maintenance of volunteer documents, including volunteer handbooks and other documents
• Development and delivery of the volunteer recognition program and driving volunteer engagement
• Working to assist OS to meet national volunteering standards of management
